El Paso Shooter to Appear In Court

The man accused of going on a killing spree in an El Paso Walmart is expected to appear in court Thursday afternoon.

The initial hearing was delayed after the judge assigned to the case bowed out, saying she knew one of the victims.

The shooter is facing capital murder in the massacre that killed 22 people and injured 26 more.

Prosecutors say they are pushing for the death penalty.

Following Thursday’s court appearance, a status hearing is scheduled for Nov. 7.
