The City of Frankfort officially started celebrating Beer Week.
It’s the sixth year that breweries, restaurants and businesses in Frankfort and Benzie County have teamed up to celebrate craft beer and food.
The week features a variety of craft beer themed events.
20 different businesses are involved with this year’s Beer Week celebration.
“Here at Stormcloud we have a harvest ale that we just tapped this morning. It’s brewed with local hops and local malt, grown in Leelanau County right next door. Michigan is a great beer state, it’s one of the largest beer states in the whole country, so this is just our little celebration of Michigan craft beer here in Benzie County,” said Marketing and Communications Director for Stormcloud Keirsun Scott.
