Interlochen Man Arrested For Holding Two People Hostage at Gunpoint

An Interlochen man is accused of holding his girlfriend hostage after seeing her with another person.

Michigan State Police say Kevin Rennhack saw his girlfriend in a compromising situation with another man while watching his home security camera.

They say Rennhack got his rifle, went home and pointed the gun at the two.

They say he held them hostage for a few minutes before letting them go.

Rennhack is now being held on a $10,000 bond at the Grand Traverse Jail for unlawful imprisonment, felony firearms charges and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

If convicted on all charges, he faces more than 15 years in jail.
