Soo Unchained Fashion Show to Benefit Family Struggling With Infertility

This weekend, 30 models from ages three to 33 will strut their stuff to bring awareness to families facing fertility issues.

Saturday night in Sault Ste. Marie, you will see the models in some futuristic-inspired outfits for the Unchained Fashion Show.

Shelli Bishop and her husband struggled with fertility issues several years ago, but now they now have a beautiful little boy.

Proceeds from the event will help a local family struggling with infertility.

Bishop says the inspiration for the show actually came from a dream.

“We are going to raise money for a family that is affected by infertility. I really want to raise awareness for people that are struggling and just let people know that it is very expensive and I know what it is like to want something so bad it hurts. I don’t think people realize how much it really, how much it really costs and I don’t think money should be an issue.”

The Unchained Fashion Show is Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Sault Ste. Marie Country Club starting at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails, appetizers, and a silent auction.

The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are 30 dollars each and can be purchased at A Cut Above Salon and Spa.
