Mason, Lake Counties Broke State Record on July 20 for Most Rainfall in 24 hours
The National Weather Service has now confirmed a state record has been broken for rainfall in 24 hours.
Our Doppler 9&10 Weather Team says NWS confirmed heavy rain back on July 20 broke a record that stood since 1914.
That’s when almost 13 inches of rain fell in Mason and Lake Counties.
The 1914 record was almost 10 inches of rain in Bloomingdale.
