Michigan’s Ban of Flavored Nicotine Vaping Products Effective Immediately

Michigan is no longer waiting to ban flavored e-cigarettes.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer has just issued an emergency rule banning it immediately.

The emergency rules gives businesses 14 days to get the products off their shelves.

The rules will be in place for 180 days, and can be extended for six more months.

The White House and other states have also pushed for a ban on flavored vaping products.

More middle and high schoolers across the country are using e-cigarettes than ever before.

The state says those students using them has skyrocketed 900% from 2011 to 2015.
