They have immediate openings in their emergency department and patient escort services.
Emergency department volunteers need to have a high level of customer service, be able and proactive in assisting patients, have no physical limitations and be at least 19-years-old.
Patient escorts help discharge and transport patients – they need to feel comfortable moving patients in a wheelchair, be familiar with iPhones and not have any physical limitations.
They are asked to commit to at least four hours a week for 6 months minimum and more volunteers are needed for weekdays.
Orientation and training is provided.
