UPDATE: Midland Man Arrested in Connection to Formerly Missing Isabella County Teenager

In this update, an arrest has been made in connection to a formerly missing teenage girl.

We first told you on Thursday that 14-year-old Nevaeh Snyder of Shepherd was missing.

On Saturday, Shepherd Police said she had been found safe.

Now, police say a 21-year-old Midland man had been arrested.

They say they were in contact with Snyder’s family throughout Saturday night and into early Sunday morning.

The department says they learned the suspect was possibly going to the family’s home.

Deputies were sent to the house and arrested the man on Sunday around 1:00 a.m.

He is facing charges of approaching a child for immoral purposes.

His name will be released once he has been arraigned.
