3 Million+ Cars Recalled By General Motors

We have an important recall notice from General Motors.

Nearly 3.5 million pickup trucks and SUVs are being recalled because of a brake problem.

GM says a pump has been found to create less of a vacuum, increasing the distance needed to stop—it’s rare, they add. And it mostly happens at low speeds.

Vehicles recalled include certain Chevy Silverados, Tahoes and Suburbans, Cadillac Escalades and GMC Sierras and Yukons.

The models range from model years 2014 through 2018.

GM says there have been 113 reports of crashes and 13 injuries related to the issue.

GM has already started notifying owners.

Recalled vehicles should be brought to the dealer to have the brakes fixed free of charge.

This recall comes after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began investigating the problem in November 2018.
