MTM On The Road: Veterans’ Inspirational Art Show in Traverse City

Veterans often struggle to re-connect with society after they serve, and art is one way many learn to cope.

Now an event in Traverse City is showcasing their work.

The Cowell family is known around Northern Michigan for their philanthropic ventures. They are using art as a way to bring people together and raise money for local veterans.

The Veterans Inspirational Art Show on Sept. 28 is featuring more than 100 pieces of art for over 30 artists. The evening will be filled with inspirational art, bar services and exquisite hors d’oeuvres.

Philanthropists Dana and Casey Cowell say veterans will get 100% of the proceeds when people purchase their work.
