Bikes for Kids Winner # 5

9&10 Logo

Ryan Wiggins, age 12, from Mount Pleasant has just started in the 7th grade this fall at Sacred Heart Academy. Ryan was nominated by his Art teacher Sarah Chaffee for always having a positive attitude in school and his willing to help everyone. Ryan was a wonderful mentor for her son this summer on his baseball team, whom was struggling to keep up, and Ryan helped him with improving his skills, always updating Ms. Chaffee on all of the positive improvements he was seeing and how proud he was of him.

Ryan is also apart of the “Buddy” program at Sacred Heart, where he helped with the Kindergarten Prep students in their classroom. Ms. Chaffee noted that his level of concern for and pride in others is very rare to find in a 6th grader and she is very thankful that her son has such a great mentor to look up to. We want to congratulate Ryan on all of his wonderful attributes and encourage him to continue to do good deeds!

Barberi Law, along with My104.3, 9&10 News, Meijer, and The Morning Sun want to congratulate all of our 2019 winners for making an impact in their community with their friends and families and look forward to another amazing Bikes for Kids program in 2020!

Please keep a look out for more information next spring on how you can nominate a deserving child in your community.

Congratulations again to all of our winners!
