Police Believe Fire at Dublin General Store Was Intentionally Set

An incredible development on the fire that destroyed a beloved Manistee County establishment.

Police now say someone purposely set the fire at the Dublin General Store.

We first told you about the fire Saturday.

Police say it started around 3 that morning.

After going through surveillance video, the sheriff’s office believes the fire was intentionally set.

A fire investigator was back at the scene Tuesday with a canine to look for any signs of accelerants.

Police are now waiting on those lab results.

The Dublin General Store had been a staple of the Wellston area since 1935.
