Michigan Red Cross Volunteers Heading South For Dorian Relief Efforts

People from Michigan are preparing to head south to join disaster relief efforts.

9&10 news reached out to the Northern Michigan chapter of the American Red Cross on Sunday.

The executive coordinator told us 600 volunteers from across the country, including a dozen from Michigan, are heading to areas predicted to be impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

The Red Cross will also send 20 emergency vehicles and more than 60 trailers filled with supplies.
