Michigan DNR Confirms 40th Cougar Sighting Since 2008

The DNR has confirmed the 40th cougar sighting in Michigan since 2008.

They released pictures of the cougar Friday.

They were captured earlier this month on a trail cam in Delta County in the Upper Peninsula.

39 of the 40 confirmed cougar sightings have been in the Upper Peninsula.

The DNR says there is no conclusive evidence of a breeding population in Michigan.

They believe the cougars are migrating from Wyoming and the Dakotas to Michigan.
