“It’s like magic isn’t it?”

Take one step inside of the Shoreline Fruit production facility in Williamsburg and you’re immediately in cherry heaven! The cherries have fallen from the trees and now they have made their ways to production facilities across Northern Michigan.

C.E.O. John Sommavilla took the four’s Madison Gardner and photojournalist Zach Razminas on a grand tour during one of their most busiest times of the year. “We’re doing our normal process-drying fruit, putting the juice in the bags in the boxes – bottling concentrate and for about 5-6 weeks in the summer we’re pressing the cherries that are coming off of harvest,” says C.E.O. John Sommavilla.

They sell dried cherries, cherry juice, wellness supplements, chocolate covered cherries — the list is endless! Lucky for you, you can find their products in almost any store. “We’re national on it. We’ve got this in about 1,800 Walmart stores across the U.S. Meijer was our first customer to break with and they’ve done a great job with it,” says C.E.O. Sommavilla.
