Mount Pleasant Dispensary Owner Convicted of Marijuana Trafficking

A man that operated several marijuana dispensaries around the state, including one in Mount Pleasant, has been charged with a handful of federal marijuana trafficking-related charges.

After a four day trial, Daniel Trevino was convicted on ten counts of marijuana trafficking.

Trevino owned a dispensary called Hydro World and had stores in Lansing, Grand Rapids, Jackson, Flint and Mount Pleasant.

Trevino had prior drug felony convictions including cocaine and marijuana.

Since he was previously charged, Trevino was only allowed 12 marijuana plants; however Trevino had planted thousands of plants and sold nearly $3 million worth of marijuana.
