Munson Rehab Therapists Train for Traverse City Ironman, 70.3 Triathlon

The Ironman is no easy race, its 70.3 miles of swimming, running, and biking.

But two women from Munson Medical Center in Traverse City are taking on the challenge.

Two rehab therapists from Mary Free Bed at Munson Medical Center have been training around the clock for Sunday’s Ironman race in Traverse City.

For the last seven months, Megan LaPaine and Haleigh Dunn have been training to take on a physically exhausting challenge, the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon.

They train six days a week for the 1.2 mile swim around west Grand Traverse Bay, 56 mile bike ride, and 13.1 mile run.
