Ferris State University Releases New Details About Threat Investigation

We are learning more details about Ferris State University’s involvement in threats made against them and other organizations and businesses.

Arnold Holmes is charged with making domestic terrorism threats and using a computer to commit a felony.

State police say Holmes posted multiple videos on YouTube threatening the V.A., hospitals and a Ferris State professor.

The university says they have dealt with Holmes before, kicking him off campus in the spring semester.

FSU also says they did not send out an alert to the campus because it was not under any serious threat and the professor named was out of the state.

Holmes’ family says he has been dealing with PTSD since his discharge from the Marines in 2012.

Holmes is being held on a $1 million bond and faces 20 years in prison.
