Reed City Man Arrested for Making Threats Against FSU

State police say they have arrested a Reed City man for making threats to Ferris State University and others.

State police have not released the man’s name, but say they were tipped off Sunday morning that the man was making threatening videos.

Troopers say in those videos he specifically mentioned FSU, area hospitals, the V.A. and military police.

State police quickly worked to find the man and arrested him hours after posting those videos.

He was arrested for posting terrorist threats, using a computer to commit a crime and other charges.

State police say there was never a physical threat to any of the organizations and businesses he talked about.
