MSP Say Missing Man May Have Been Spotted in Crawford County

Michigan State Police say a missing man have been spotted in Crawford County.

56 year old David Bardes was reported missing on July 18th.

Police say he disappeared after he and his son went to Walmart in Petoskey.

They say he left his son there.

The son has since returned to their home in North Carolina, but Bardes is still missing.

Police believe he is still in the area.

Tips say he’s been seen near Grayling.

Bardes suffers from mental health issues and his family is concerned for his safety.

“He left his son at the Walmart in Petoskey. As far as him being in trouble or anything, he’s not. We’re just worried about his welfare,” said MSP Trooper, Adam Brown.

Bardes was last seen wearing khaki shorts and a polo shirt.

He drives a 2007 Honda Accord, with a North Carolina license plate, number CMN8361.
