Man Charged in Grand Traverse Co. Walgreens Robbery 7 Years Later

A man is charged after police say he threatened and robbed a Walgreens in Grand Traverse County more than seven years ago.

Jason Cook is accused of robbing the Walgreens on South Airport Road in May 2012.

Police arrested Cook last week after a fingerprint helped them make a break in the case.

State police say Cook passed a note through the drive-thru window saying, “I placed a bomb in your store, give me your ritalian and morphine now… Or else.”

Investigators say they found Cook’s fingerprints on the suspect vehicle.

He could face life in prison if convicted.
