BATA Buddy Program Helps Seniors Get Around in NoMi

Public transportation can create confusion and even nervousness if you don’t know how it all works.

That’s why the Bay Area Transportation Authority which services Grand Traverse and Leelanau Counties is working hand in hand with seniors to make them feel comfortable.

It’s a new step-by-step program called the “BATA Buddy Program” and the goal is to get more seniors riding.
