AG Nessel Outlines Concerns in Campground Companies Unfair Trade Practices

Michigan’s Attorney General is outlining concerns for consumers in regards to a campground company.

She says Outdoor Adventures has engaged in a number of unfair trade practices.

Outdoor Adventures runs eight campgrounds across the state, including in Mount Pleasant and West Branch.

She says, “Outdoor Adventures appears to have taken egregious advantage of dozens of Michigan residents, taking their money under false pretenses and then refusing refunds and cancellations. We cannot and will not allow any company to mislead people into spending thousands of dollars of their hard-earned money. We are laying the groundwork for a formal investigation and are communicating to you the intention to file a lawsuit.”
