West Nile Virus Found in Midland County Bird

A dead crow in Midland County has been found to have the West Nile virus.

The county mosquito control did not say where the infected bird was found.

This is now the sixth case found in the state this year.

The Midland County Mosquito Control says there were more than 20 cases of the virus last year.

They’re asking people to use insect repellent, wear long-sleeves and to not sit outside too long in the dark.
