Western Michigan Fair Returning for 81st Year

Gates open at 3 p.m. Tuesday for the 81st Western Michigan Fair in Ludington.

The Western Michigan Fair Association expects close to 18,000 people to come through their fairgrounds.

Tuesday will be a busy day for them because it’s just $1 to get in and for any rides inside.

They’re excited to see all their hard work enjoyed by so many in the community.

“We work all year long to put on this event and when the people that come, our fairgoers come and are having a good time, it makes it all worth the hard work,” said Marcia Hansen, Western Michigan Fair Association Communication Coordinator.

The fair in Ludington goes through Saturday.
