Marion Welcomes Start of Old Fashioned Days
The village of Marion will spend this weekend celebrating Old Fashioned Days.
Saturday will include a number of events for children including bass master casting, a children’s parade, contests and games.
There will also be a classic car show, tractor pull and live music.
A group is also working to raise money to help restore the Mill Pond Park.
They say Old Fashioned Days is always a weekend that turns into a big family reunion.
“It’s a good boost the community to have people come home because there’s always a lot of class reunions and just reunions in general, and getting together and everyone tries to have a good time,” said Osceola County Chairman of the Board Jack Nehmer.
