Free Traverse City Film Festival Shuttles with BATA

Traverse City Film Festival visitors don’t have to spend their time fighting traffic.

BATA is offering free shuttle service throughout the film festival.

The free shuttles offer transportation to the different venues for the festival. You can pick up a free ride from Northwestern Michigan College, Traverse City’s two parking decks, or Thirlby Field on 14th Street off Division.

The free shuttles start at 7 a.m. and run until the last movie finishes up in the evening, usually about 2 a.m.

Eric Linguar with BATA says, “The film festival puts ambassadors on each bus and so they can answer questions about movie venues, what locations to get off at and everything like that. And so just hop on. You can leave your car in one location and you don’t have to fight with finding a parking spot.”

Buses will make 10 stops along the route and will come by approximately every 15 minutes.
