Pass the popcorn!

The Traverse City Film Festival has started. .

The weeklong festival is back for its 15th year.

It will feature dozens of films from dozens of genres, and there will be showings at the State Theater downtown and Bijou by the Bay plus seven more venues.

Every night this week you can catch free flicks at the Open Space park starting at 9:30 p.m.

Locals and tourists are drawn to the T.C. tradition, and thousands of people are in town for the festival, some for the first time.

You can buy your movie tickets at the box office at 120 Park Street downtown.
