Sights and Sounds: Betsie River Centennial Lily Farm

A day lily’s botanical name hemerocallis, means “beauty for a day” because the flower opens in the morning and dies by night.

Photojournalist Stephanie Adkins stopped by the Betsie River Centennial Lily Farm in Thompsonville, where the flowers are now blooming.

The farm is open for you to buy some of their beautiful varieties of flowers.

Its today’s Sights and Sounds of Northern Michigan.
