At 9-years-old you’re supposed to worry about your crush or where your next sugar rush will come from, but for this young girl, she is wondering where her next lung will come from.
Kira Herlein from Ludington has cystic fibrosis and is in need of a double lung transplant.
Her and her family are headed to St. Louis, Missouri in hopes of finding her lungs. There is an upcoming fundraiser on August 1 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ludington.
This will be a taco dinner, bake sale and auction.
