Cadillac Festival of the Arts Packs Up Early for Storms
The weather put a damper on the Cadillac Festival of the Arts, cutting it short for its 51st year.
The director for the event tell us they had a successful turn out Friday.
But when the storms rolled in early Saturday afternoon, they had to pack it up.
Organizers say it’s all about the safety of the community
And wanted people to know where to go to get out of the storm.
“We’ve been watching the radar all morning, so when knew that there was going to be some storms coming through and it just getting worse and worse,” says the art fair coordinator, Dani Renwick.
The Cadillac Fire Department says people are welcome to come in to the station for shelter.
