MSP: Gaylord Traffic Stop Leads to Drug, Warrant Arrests
Michigan State Police say a traffic stop in Gaylord ended in drug and warrant arrests on Sunday.
Troopers say they stopped a vehicle on M-32 in Gaylord after someone reported them driving erratically.
But the traffic stop took a turn when they found out Antrim County had an active warrant out for the driver, a 34-year-old Boyne City man.
And they say the 27-year-old passenger, Rachell Cook of Jackson, was in possession of meth hidden in her lower body.
Police say medical professionals removed it.
The Otsego County prosecutor has charged Cook with one count of possession of Meth. She was arraigned on Monday.
