Traverse City Man Facing Charges After Police Found Stolen Guns and Cocaine

A 21 year old is facing charges in Grand Traverse County.

Police say he had two stolen handguns, cocaine and materials to possibly sell it.

The sheriff’s office says it started with a tip claiming a handgun stolen from an apartment complex in Garfield Township had been traded to the man for drugs.

After a search of his home, the sheriff’s office says they found the gun, another stolen gun as well as the drugs.

Another 23 year old man at the scene was arrested for contempt of court warrants.
