U.S. House Passed Bill To Protect Military Families From Lead in Their Homes
Friday, the U.S. House passed a bill that would help protect military families from lead exposure in their homes.
The bill was sponsored by Michigan Congressman Democrat, Dan Kildee.
It would do things like allow third party testing for lead-based paint homes on military bases.
It would also make sure the military is following property regulations for inspecting lead-based paint in military homes.
