It’s festival season in Northern Michigan, and taking center stage this week is the 55th Annual Alpenfest in Gaylord.
The five-day festival honors the tradition and history of Gaylord with free fun, arts and crafts vendors, and food!
T.J. Schmidt’s Carnival also has rides for kids, the thrill seekers, and prize winning games to keep the family entertained all day.
Happening on Friday is the Alpenfest Queens’ Pageant starting at 6 p.m. on the main stage. Four candidates will vie for the 2019 Alpenfest Queen title.
