Midland Co. Crash Kills Driver, Severely Injures Passenger
The Midland County Sheriff’s office is investigating a crash that killed an 88-year-old Flint man Wednesday night.
He has been identified as Elmer Lawrence Vinton.
The sheriff’s office says Vinton was driving a truck east on West Saginaw Road when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a ditch.
Vinton and his passenger were transported to the hospital by Emergency Medical Services.
The sheriff’s office says Vinton died and his passenger was hospitalized with severe injuries.
