Evart Makes a Splash With New Park Addition

A new addition is making a splash in Osceola County, providing a safe way for kids to cool off and beat the summer heat.

After two years, Evart has officially opened its new splash pad for kids and their families to enjoy this summer.

Evart City Manager Sarah Dvoracek says, “Anything with water and kids—it will just make our little city a destination place.”

The new splash pad at Evart’s Riverside Park is finally open and it’s busting in popularity. Xander Schultz says when he first saw it, “I was like excited face.”

The city started the project in 2017 when they received a grant from former Governor Rick Snyder called Project Rising Tide.
