Great Food & a Great Event: Groundworks Center & Great Lakes Culinary Institute’s Fred Laughlin

From great food to a great event, we were able to get it all with some special guests from the Great Lakes Culinary Institute and Ground Works Center in Traverse City.

Fred Laughlin, retired director of the Great Lakes Culinary Institute, was in the Heritage House Kitchen to bring us a roasted salmon dish.

Plus, we had Paula Martin from the Ground Works Center in Traverse City on to talk about an upcoming event happening over the weekend of September 27th.

This event is a great opportunity for healthcare professionals to come together and talk about local food and even take part in from cooking demos with Laughlin.

It kicks off on Friday with an expo for the public to experience cooking with Laughlin and connect with their local healthcare providers.
