Iran Ignores Nuclear Deal to Adjust Purity of Uranium

Iran has announced new reductions to a joint nuclear weapons deal they previously agreed to.

An Iranian government spokesman announced they would be breaking commitments agreed on as part of the joint comprehensive plan of action.

In a press conference Sunday Iran said they would exceed their enriched uranium cap.

Iran would also be adjusting the purity of the uranium, making nuclear weapon production a possibility.

The move has left many countries in the region concerned and many American officials say it’s a concerning act of defiance.

Iran is now giving a 60 day deadline before altering their nuclear commitments further.
