She has been terrified of fireworks for the last 8 years ever since someone set off an M80 on a bridge in Grand Rapids by us when she was about 4 years old. This year was the first since then that she would stay and watch them with us. She had a very rough start in life being in the Devos Children's hospital for a large portion of the first three years of her life. Today she is a strong, healthy and smart little girl that we are so grateful how far she has come. So Independence day 2019 will be one of the many mile markers she has surpassed.Our girl surprised us this year at the fire work display in Petoskey MI.
