Census Bureau Moves to Print Without Controversial Citizenship Question

The Census Bureau is moving ahead with printing its next form.

Despite a push from the Trump administration, it will not have a question asking about Citizenship status.

The Supreme Court blocked the question from appearing on the once-in-a-decade form in a ruling last week.

Some fear the question would lead to an undercount because some would not participate and it would make it difficult to see where the country may need assistance.

Wednesday President Trump claimed his administration has not dropped its fight to get a citizenship question on the U.S. census.

He says it is a battle the administration needs to fight.

This comes despite confirmation from the Justice department that the administration has abandoned plans to include the citizenship question.
