John and Phyllis Cook starting dating about a year ago after both lost their spouses.

They decided to get a marriage license and tie the knot.

John is a World War II veteran that recently turned 100-years-old.

Phyllis will turn 103 on August 8.

The pair spend their days together sitting in the sunshine and enjoying meals together at their assisted living facility, but they understand the importance of space.

They both kept their own apartments — he’s upstairs, and she is down.
