GT Butterfly House & Bug Zoo Unveils New Exhibit at National Cherry Festival

There are so many things we see year after year at the National Cherry Festival, but new this year is the GT Butterfly Experience!

A long line of people waited to get inside and to learn about all the butterflies.

The Grand Traverse Butterfly House & Bug Zoo opened the butterfly experience Wednesday.

Visitors are able to interact and feed the butterflies, and learn about how they serve the environment!

“We have over 100 North American native butterflies that are right here from Michigan to get up close and personal to inside our exhibit. And it’s a free event so all are welcome to attend,” says Cyndie Roach with GT Butterfly House & Bug Zoo.

The butterfly exhibit is open from 10 until 6 every day from now until Saturday.

They tell us they hope to be back again next year!
