MTM On The Road: Day 4 of the National Cherry Festival

The National Cherry Festival is gearing up for another packed day of fun!

Our On the Road crew is previewing some of Tuesday’s events, including one kids look forward to all year—the Kids Pet Show!

The show is from 10 a.m. to noon at F&M Park at Railroad & Washington Streets. Categories include best dressed pet, ugliest mutt and even best dressed ensemble.

Today at the National Cherry Festival is the celebration of Heritage Day!

The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians will perform a Native American Pow Wow Dance at noon at the Pepsi Bay Side Music Stage.

The Consumers Energy Parade Heritage Parade is happening at 7 p.m. Tuesday night. It honors the history of the cherry industry and the community.
