NASA Exhibit Comes to National Cherry Festival

There’s an exhibit at National Cherry Festival this weekend that is out of this world.

The NASA Glen Research Center’s ‘Journey to Tomorrow,’ is a traveling trailer that gives people the chance to learn about space.

It includes model of NASA’s air and space crafts, as well as interactive touchscreen monitors.

It is also wheelchair friendly and air conditioned.

The National Cherry Festival’s executive director, tells us they’re the ones who reached out to NASA.

The festival is thrilled NASA agreed to come for opening weekend.

One man who came up from downstate, says when he heard about it, he knew he had to make it part of his day.

“I feel like we don’t go out and try new things but if it’s there we will try it. It was really cool, I learned a lot of new things about space and like what we can do in the future,” says Nathan Goralski, who lives in Romeo.

If you want to check out the exhibit, you can do so Sunday from 10 in the morning until 6 p.m.
