Police Release Name of Man Who Died in Midland Landfill Accident
Police have now released the name of the man who died in an accident at a midland landfill.
Officers say Mark Stitt of Hespira was killed Thursday at the city of Midland landfill.
They say he was a private contractor working in the area, and there was no foul play.
From their investigation, Stitt was dumping materials at the landfill using a hydraulic trailer.
They say he wound up trapped in the equipment, which caused his death.
