Kids Hear from NASA Astronauts Aboard ISS at Traverse Area District Library

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station talked to kids Friday morning at the Traverse Area District Library.

NASA and the library were able to hold the event thanks to the amateur radio on the International Space Station program.

It promotes science, technology engineering and math learning (STEM.)

Kids were able to ask the astronauts questions through a direct radio contact feed.

9&10 News was at this event and will have more on it tonight.
