The USDA Announce Grants for Clare and Nottowa Township for Water Infrastructure

Two Northern Michigan communities are getting help to improve their water infrastructure.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced new grants for the city of Clare and Nottowa Township.

Clare will get a $1.4 million loan to replace their iron removal pressure filters, install high service pumps and make other improvements.

Nottowa Township will get a $2.4 million grant and a $1.3 million loan to build a new sewer collection system.
