New Housing Development in Downtown Cadillac Gets $1.5 Million Boost
A new development in downtown Cadillac just got a boost from the Michigan Strategic Fund.
The Cadillac Lofts Development is getting a $1.5 million grant.
It’s part of the Michigan Community Revitalization Program.
The lofts project is set to cost $9.3 million and will bring a new four story, mixed-use building at the corner of Mitchell and Cass Streets.
The first phase of the project is underway, filling a vacant parcel and bringing more housing to Cadillac’s core.
This grant comes on top of more than $900,000 already secured for the project through grants.
