MTM On The Road: Verizon STEM Camp in Mid Michigan College in Harrison

Just because school is out doesn’t mean learning has to stop!

About 100 middle school girls from Gladwin and Clare counties will have the chance to be a part of a free three week summer camp at Mid Michigan College in Harrison!

The Verizon STEM Camp will start on July 22 and end on August 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The camp is a part of the Verizon Innovative Learning Program that will help teach science, technology, engineering and math skills.

Students who register for the camp will receive lunch and a tablet to use during the camp.

To register, contact Sarah Kohler at skohler@midmich.edu or (989) 386-6622 x535.

Join Regan Blissett and Stephanie Adkins as they preview all of the program activities girls will be learning!
